Services for the Unhoused Community
AmeriCorps St. Louis has supported services for unhouse individuals in our community since 2009. Our location in Soulard has served as an Emergency Winter Warming Shelter and offered weekly services including showers, meals, laundry, mail service, and more. The impact of these services have been supported by partnerships with the City of St. Louis, St. Louis Winter Outreach, other social services providers and nonprofits, and many volunteers.
Due to available organizational funding and capacity, homelessness services at AmeriCorps St. Louis are currently in transition.
Daytime shelter services (Tuesday Showers) and cooling station operation will be suspended as of Friday, August 21.
AmeriCorps St. Louis seeks to identify a Partner Operator to continue Emergency Winter Shelter operations.

Winter Warming Shelter
AmeriCorps St. Louis is currently seeking a Partner Operator to provide emergency overnight winter shelter at its facilities. ACSTL is proud to support Code Blue operations of the City of St. Louis with its available resources.

St. Louis Winter Outreach
St. Louis Winter Outreach is a volunteer organization focused on providing transportation and outreach services to the unhoused during the winter months.
AmeriCorps St. Louis serves as a hub to store outreach items including coats/hats/gloves, survival gear, etc., and also serves as a volunteer meeting location.
