Meredith originally hails from Bloomington, IL. Her National Service journey started in AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps in 2017, and while serving on disaster deployment in Florida for Hurricane Irma, she met a team from AmeriCorps St. Louis. After graduating from NCCC, Meredith served as an AmeriCorps Member for Grow Ohio Valley - a nonprofit focused on increasing access to local foods. Eventually, she found her way back to AmeriCorps St. Louis, when she joined as a Member for the 2018-2019 (Year 25) service term. With ACSTL, Meredith has served as a Member, Team Leader, Fellow, and now as our Field Coordinator. In her current role, Meredith helps oversee our wildfire & prescribed burn programming, and recently completed Firefighter Type 1 training, with the goal of becoming a Squad Boss. Meredith is also holds US Forest Service B Sawyer and Cross Cut credentials.
