Join AmeriCorps St. Louis for a kickball event benefiting Missouri families recently affected by disaster.

Our kickball event, through the Joining Hands in the Heartland initiative, aims to raise funds to purchase appliances for families in need.  100% of event proceeds will go towards purchasing essential, large appliances for families who have registered with local disaster case management or their long term recovery committees.

Rockstars, you know what they look like – the sunglasses, the leather jackets and skinny jeans, the too-cool-for-you attitude, the chainsaws and demolition hammers, the first grade reading curriculums, the soup ladles serving up hot meals. That’s right, rockstars do feed the homeless, tutor elementary school students and respond to disasters in St. Louis. The Rockstars of Service are the men and women serving in the education, emergency response and city-wide service programs of AmeriCorps St. Louis.

For one night only:  Enjoy the music of rockstars including Vijoy Rao and The Removers, Last to Show First to Go and Treehouse at a benefit concert for AmeriCorps St. Louis.

Food and drink specials provided by Pi Pizzeria and The Gramophone.

Party the night away with burlesque dancers and live and silent auctions.

$10 cover, additional donations accepted. All proceeds benefit the Education, Emergency Response, City-Wide Service and Joplin Response programs of AmeriCorps St. Louis. Rock on!
